Etch holds a regular scratch night at The Peckham Pelican that discovers, develops and showcases new work in theatre.
Etch scratch nights are pay-what-you-can-events.
Writers
Etch scratch nights always hold an open submission policy. Our submission windows are advertised on our website and social media accounts. We are happy to accept scripts from companies. Etch looks for work that is still in development and geared towards a future life. Unless you are submitting as a company, we will match your work with a carefully chosen director. This process is always collaborative.
Directors
We are always looking to work with new directors so please do send us your CV. We aim to meet all directors who contact us. We are happy to accept scripts from directors.
Actors
We do not yet hold auditions for our scratch nights. If you are interested in working with us, please send us your CV and we will be in touch with anything we think you may be right for. We tend to cast actors whose work we have seen, so do let us know about any upcoming projects that we can attend.
We always prefer to meet artists in person, so please come and say hello at any of our events or productions!
